Truck loses brakes on Depot Street starting at Susquehanna ending on the east side of Railroad Street, over the bank. The vehicle and operator traveled 5 blocks downhill with no brakes, hitting nothing in its travel before coming to rest. PT had walked away uninjured. ON Scene 41-R, 41-9, FCPD, Kozlowski Towing had removed vehicle.

March 6, 2012 Station 41 was dispatched to assist Station 61 with an MVA rollover on Route 171 near Buffalo Rd. Upon arrival, one vehicle was found lying on it's roof partially blocking the Northbound lane.

AT 815 AM WAYNE COUNTY 911 DISPATCHED RESCUE 41 AND 41-8 AND 9 TO ASSIST UNIONDALE FIRE DEPT AT LEWIS LAKE FOR THE WATER RESCUE. THE RESCUE AND BOTH AMBULANCES RESPONDED TO THE SCENE WITH 15 MEMBERS. UPON ARRIVAL THE CREW FOUND 2 OCCUPANTS ON THE LAKE IN A SMALL ROW BOAT.

@ 1116 Station 41 along with FC EMS and Station 43 were dispatched for the call of a Chimney Fire in the 400 block of Delaware Street in Forest City. Crews extinguished the fire and cleaned out chimney in a timely manner.

AT 1159 AM 41-9 WAS DISPATCHED ALONG WITH MICU 9 TO THE 600 BLOCK OF HILLSIDE ST IN RICHMONDALE FOR THE MALE IN HIS 60'S FALL VICTIM DOWN A FLIGHT OF STAIRS. 41-9 RESPONDED TO THE SCENE AND ARRIVED UNDER 4 MINUTES FROM THE DISPATCH.

On Thursday 4/21/11 Wayne county 911 struck the box for a reported house fire with a person trapped in the 700 block of Delaware st forest city. Engine, rescue, wagon, and 41-8 and 41-9 responded on the call first due.

A SINGLE CAR MVA HAPPENED NORTH OF FOREST CITY ON ROUTE 171. A 4 DOOR SEDAN HAD LEFT THE ROAD TRAVELED THROUGH A STORM DITCH HITTING A DRAIN COMING TO REST FACING SOUTH ON THE NORTH BOUND SIDE. 2 PATIENTS IN VEHICLE BOTH HAVE REFUSED MEDICAL ATTENTION, REFUSALS WERE OBTAINED BY FC EMS 41-9.

Station 41 were dispatched to assist Station 52 with a MVA and entrapment. 41 personell aided in the removal of trapped PT. The PT was then transported to CMC by 41-9 for further evaluation.

A JOB WELL DONE by all mutual aid departments on Thursday 12-30-10 @ 0100 for box4101 with a structure fire @ 257 Hudson Street Forest City with entrapment. E-41,R-41, 41-8, 41-9 responded staffed. While enroute Wayne County advised that PD on scene confirming heavy smoke and 1 occupant trapped.

Wednesday 11-24-10 the morning started early for the members of 41 with the ems being alerted to stand-by for Waymart EMS while they operated on a motel fire in Waymart boro, shortly there after the rescue was alerted by Wayne county 911 to transfer in to Lackawanna county station 24.

On Wednesday 10-13-10 Wayne county 911 alerted rescue 41 and 41-9 to assist station 52 Uniondale for the 1 car rollover with entrapment on route 171 and mausoleum road. 41-9 responded on dispatch and was the first arriving emergency vehicle on the scene along with Uniondale 21.

On Sunday 10-10-10 the morning started with the annual Steamtown Marathon, This year adding more coverage to the boro of Vandling in addition to Forest City. This required the usage of 3 engines, the Rescue and 41-8, 41-9.
